AerojetSet Employee Referral Program Guidelines Employee referrals are an important part of our hiring strategy. Recruiting people our employees already know has proven to be an excellent source of qualified candidates, and we want to encourage you to continue to make referrals. When an eligible candidate referred by an employee is hired, the referring employee receives from $500 to $5,000, depending upon the position filled by the new employee. Payment is made 90 days after the new employee starts with Aerojet. And, for each referral hired, the referring employee’s name is entered into an annual drawing for a trip for two to a destination of the winning employee’s choice! Specific rules of eligibility and payment apply, so please refer to the detailed guidelines below.
Any candidate is eligible if the individual was not previously known to or identified by Aerojet within the 12 months prior to receiving an employee referral form and attached resume. In addition, no referral bonus will be paid if, within the last 12 months, the candidate has already been referred to Aerojet by another employee; the candidate has previously submitted a resume to Aerojet on their own; the candidate previously worked for GenCorp or Aerojet; or if the resume has been submitted by an employment agency. If more than 12 months have elapsed since the candidates resume was received in any of these ways, the candidate will be eligible. Upon receipt of a referral, Human Resources will confirm whether or not the referral is eligible for an award and will notify you if the referral is not eligible. In the event a candidate is referred by two or more employees, the referral will be credited to the employee who first provided Human Resources with a properly completed form and resume. In addition, besides personally referring someone that you know, you may simply provide a name and contact information or company information for an individual you think would be a fit for Aerojet and you can remain anonymous in the recruiting process. Human Resources will not use your name in contacting a referral candidate if you check the appropriate box on the referral form, but you will still receive the appropriate award should we hire your referral. Please use the referral form to indicate the candidate’s contact information, your information, and whether you would like to remain anonymous. Candidate eligibility will be determined by Human Resources according to the information provided in the above paragraphs.
Summer, internship, trainee, and casual positions are excluded from the employee

From time-to-time, Aerojet may offer a “special skills” bonus for positions that are of particularly high priority and/or that are difficult to fill. The amount of the additional award will be $1,000, and positions eligible for the increased amount will be listed in the Employee Referral section of the Intranet. (From the Aerojet Online homepage, click on Human Resources under the Employee Resources menu, then Staffing).
First prize is a Dream Vacation (a trip, up to a maximum value of $4,000.00, booked through the Aerojet Travel Desk) to the destination of the employee's choice. Second prize is a $1,000.00 American Express Gift Card. All employees who have at least one referral hired are eligible to win the trip or the gift card; each hired referral results in one entry into the drawing for the referring employee. Employees must still be employed to be eligible. Aerojet will pay tax gross-up on these awards for the winning employees. Time off for the trip may be taken from the employee's vacation account or as unpaid time off. Cash will not be substituted for the value of the trip.
